Explosion Proof 3-Piece Stainless Steel Ball Valves
This series of 316 SS electric actuator ball valves are designed for a variety of applications including process, tank farms and fueling. They are available in 1/2″ to 12″ (12mm – 300mm) with temperature ranges from -50°F to 650°F and pressure ratings of 800 WOG up to 6000 WOG. Live-loaded stem seals and a redundant body seal design makes them ideal for severe service applications.
They feature a full port for great flow rates and minimal pressure drop through the body. PTFE seats and stems offer a long cycle life. These valves are explosion proof for hazardous environments and come standard with an anti-static device. This prevents static electrical charges from building between the ball and the stem and directing them to the body which can cause sparks and fires.
Unlike solenoid valves which use an electric current and magnetic field to operate, our electrical actuator ball valves can be operated manually, pneumatically or hydraulically. These features make them a safer and more economical choice for your application.
Our Stainless Steel Electric Actuator Ball Valves are available in one-piece, two-piece and three-piece bodies with a wide selection of trim materials and end connections including threaded, press-to-connect, flanged and solder. They can also be supplied with any type of ISO 5211 mounting pad and actuator package for automation. Anti-static devices, fire safe construction and blowout proof stem designs are available on request for additional safety features in your application.
